“Ever since I can remember, I have always wanted to work with children. Shortly after graduation, an opportunity was presented to me to work with a 3 year old with autism. She was nonverbal, behavioral and had many challenges facing her. I quickly fell in love with her and her family. I am lucky enough to still be in contact with the family and it’s rewarding to hear how well she is thriving. I feel so blessed to have been given the opportunity to influence children’s lives and in turn have them teach me what is really important in life along the way.”
