Janice Miles earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. After spending several years working in the insurance industry, Janice left the working world to be a stay-at-home mom to her first born son. The role of stay-at-home mom was quickly replaced with research, advocacy, and therapies when her son was diagnosed with autism, epilepsy and food allergies. She became heavily involved in the autism community, joining the board of directors for the Autism Society of Northeast Wisconsin in 2009 and providing education and support to many through a variety of public speaking opportunities over the years. Janice was a part of the founding team that opened Centerpiece LLC in 2012. She continues to serve as the office and billing manager.
Janice and her husband, Scott, own Centerpiece LLC and operate the company together as a family run business. They are passionate about connecting each family with the support and resources that are available in the community. They enjoy spending time with their family, cheering on AirForce Gymnasts and the Green Bay Miracle League, and camping every chance they get!
“As a parent of a child with autism, I have been through struggles that I never imagined I would endure when I became a parent. I understand the devastation of getting an autism diagnosis for your child, and the frustration that parents feel trying to navigate all of the information that is out there. It is my hope that having a parent of a child with autism on staff here at Centerpiece LLC will be a comfort and a resource to families that may need it.”
